Hello my name is Ciera Yoho and I am currently in my third year as Assistant Coach at Oakdale High School. Prior to Oakdale I was Assistant Coach at Tuscarora High School for 3 years. During both of my high school coaching experiences I contributed teaching skills and creating cheer routines for competition. My cheer experience ranges from youth to the collegiate level. As a youth starting at the age of 9 I participated in FYSA and FYFL which are two local recreation leagues. Later on I cheered for Ballenger Creek Middle school and also participated on a recreation all star team. I went on to Cheer 4 yrs at Tuscarora High School and was captain for 3 of those years leading my team to be the first at THS to compete at the state level. After graduating I proceeded on to cheer at Frostburg State University for one year. I later Competed on levels 5 and 6 coed International Open All Star teams for 4 yrs with Elite Style formerly known as MD Elite. But my cheer experience didnt end there as I volunteered my time since graduating high school to assist recreational cheerleading programs, feeder schools such as Crestwood and also at Tuscarora. Although I enjoyed high school cheerleading I obtained the majority of my coaching Experience in the allstar world as the assistant coach of the same level 5 and 6 open teams I cheered on. My season goals include but are not limited to team standing tucks, participation at the US Finals and Summit with zero deductions. My goal for the Velocity Allstars cheer program is to help athletes have fun on that big blue mat doing what they love!
